In the United States, Cinco de Mayo is a fun and festive holiday that is celebrated every year on the 5th of May (which is what “Cinco de Mayo” translates to in English) to honor Mexican culture. In some areas, this holiday is celebrated with parades featuring dancers performing in traditional Mexican attire to mariachi music.
