After all the reading progress made during the school year, it would be a pity to lose even some of it to a few summer months spent without some good book-reading habits. Or maybe you or your child are avid readers and are utilizing these carefree summer days to catch up on some new titles you’ve been patiently waiting to dive into! Either way, reading throughout the summer is wonderful, and something we hope happens every day!

-A calendar layout so you can write in the dates (these are evergreen Summer Reading Calendars, so you can print them every summer moving forward, or you can even laminate them and use them over and over again each year with dry-erase markers) and/or to note how many minutes you read each day or simply cross off the days you spent time reading.
-Tracking for total minutes read and total books read. It’s a great idea to set a goal at the beginning of summer for how many books you’d like to read and then have a competition with yourself for how many minutes you can read each day to reach your goal!
