While everyone knows the main event on Halloween is trick or treating, those with little kids know that Halloween day might feel like it stretches on forever waiting until it’s time to let the younger kids go out and get some free candy.
What better way to wait for dusk and the start of trick or treating than some free printable word searches for Halloween? Our kids have always loved word search puzzles and will be occupied for hours finding all the words in their lists.
So while we’ve created at least 10 Halloween word searches for kids we’ve also added another 10 that will keep your older kids – and probably some adults too – busy all day long until it’s time to head out. Hey there! For the trick or treat candy word search, is “junior mints” actually in it? Of Is it “junior” and “mints” as 2 separate words?

Hello, for the Halloween Word Search with the candy cone stripes, where is “Halloween” at? We found “Alloween” at the bottom going diagonal but unable to find the actual word. Was this a misprint or just left out all together?
On the bottom row, the 7th letter in from the left is an H. Diagonally up and to the right spells Halloween. 🙂
