Seeing your entire year at a glance (i.e. from a macro level) makes it much easier to organize around your major life events. Using our free printable yearly calendar planner pages allows you to identify all the big things in your life that you will need to work around (and also to make sure you don’t forget them!). If you’ve ever seen or heard the prioritization analogy of putting the big rocks into your jar first and then adding in the smaller stones, pebbles, and then sand, then you know what we mean.
One way to do this is to appoint different colors to the various categories of your life and even use corresponding colored pens to circle the dates on these yearly calendars, by doing so you can easily identify the “big rocks” in your life like due dates, appointments, surgeries, birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, travel dates, holidays, etc – all of the things that are set in stone. Once you have determined what all of your “big rocks” are you will be much more able to maneuver your schedule and other to-dos around them.
