There is no doubt that journals are a wonderful way to record memories you want to hold on to forever, and writing in a journal can also be therapeutic – putting your emotions on paper is a brilliant (and can even be a creative) approach to destressing at the beginning, middle, or end of your day. Since you are likely to be carrying your planner around with you everywhere, or will at least have it close by, it makes sense to keep your journal tucked away inside for easy access.
If you are using a hole-punched planner, like a binder (as opposed to a bound planner), you could even remove the journal pages at the end of each month/quarter/year and put them in their own separate binder to keep all your journal entries in one place to look back on as needed.
